Zain Kaufid

Zain here! My journey started 9275 miles away from Ottawa, on a small island called Mauritius. Having lived there for the first 18 years of my life, I decided to embark on a new adventure in Singapore. COVID made me cut the adventure short after 1 year but redirected me to the place I now call home - Ottawa.  

In June 2024, I graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in marketing, while gaining professional experience in communications on the side. With the ambition of finding purpose in a profession that helps people achieve their hopes and dreams,  I joined Fit Financial in October 2024 to help accelerate its mission of providing straightforward advice to guide people towards their financial goals.

Driven by curiosity, I explore key aspects of life I find important: human connection, fitness, education, purpose, and meaning. At the core of these dimensions is my commitment to self-improvement and helping others level up along the way. 

When I'm not in the office, you can probably find me running along the canal. This love for running led me to completing a marathon in May 2024, which isn't much different from becoming financially fit. One step at a time or one dollar at a time and before you know it, you've achieved your goal!
